HTML

What is HTML?

HTML is a markup language that allows you to create webpages. HTML stands for hyper text markup language. Hyper text acts when you click on videos or images.
Markup language tells computers how to format documents.

If you think of a website as a collections of images and texts, html's job is to organise them, like how you format a news paper or a poster. So basically what html does is to put each pieces of the website on its right place.
But it is not just html, it is html, Css and several other languages.

Programming languages

What is a programming language?

Through programming anything is possible. We work with programming languages every day, when we play a game, when we text each other and so on. Basically what ever we do in our computer is programmed in a different programming languages.

Why should you learn a programming language?

Steve Jobs: every one should learn programming because it teaches you how to think, the reason why he said that, was when you are coding something, it involves your brain. If you do programming for about a month, you can solve a hard maths problem faster. People who do programming are almost the smartest and richest, so if you create something you can sell it for millions of dollars and become rich.

So if you have ever text your friend, played a game on your device, looked up at a webpage, you are in first level of technology. The next level is about developing like a regular computer programmer.
The final level, level 3 is about hardware and making programming languages by yourself.
